DEMENTIA is now one of the most pressing social issues of our time, so it is welcome news that staff at Incommunities have undergone training to help them support residents with the condition. Apprentices and construction managers at the social housing group have been trained with the support of the Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friendly scheme, which is making great strides in helping Bradford’s businesses and community and statutory organisations become more accessible to people with dementia.
