The news, announced Wednesday at CES, was part of Sony’s overall emphasis on a commitment to HDR. It revealed two new 4K HDR TV series–the XBR-A1E Bravia OLED and X930E/X940E series with new LED backlight driving technology–with support for Dolby Vision, as well as the open HDR10 and open Hybrid Log Gamma HDR formats.
