Two weeks after vandals wreaked havoc on Contra Costa Christian Schools’ soggy athletic field, the San Francisco 49ers have stepped in to make repairs. Members of the football team’s groundskeeping crew were at the school Feb. 6, rolling and seeding the soccer field damaged last month after someone drove destructive donuts over the water-logged grass in two separate acts of vandalism.
