I have the opportunity to review a lot of different technology products and I tend to put them into one of three categories. First, there are those products that really impress me and make me thankful for living in the Digital Age.

T&T Marathon reduces prize $$$

Defending men’s and women’s champions Mark Chepses and Leah Kigen of Kenya will head a field of 28 foreigners at Sunday’s T&T International Marathon to begin at 5:00am at St Mary’s Junction in Freeport. The runners will be forced to accept a smaller money prize due to the economic crisis being faced in T&T and worldwide.

Moonwalkers and dozens of others who took part in NASA’s storied Apollo program paid tribute Thursday to the three astronauts killed in a fire 50 years ago. On the eve of the Apollo 1 anniversary, hundreds gathered at Kennedy Space Center to honor Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee.

When the president speaks of closed factories scattered like “tombstones” across America, has he noticed the shuttered stores in shopping centers and entire malls reduced to rubble? He promises “protection” to prevent foreigners from “destroying” manufacturing jobs by exporting to America things that Americans want to import. Does he know that one American company might be “destroying” more American jobs than China is? And that this supposed destruction is beneficial? The company is Amazon , created by Jeff Bezos.

Skyscanner, the leading online travel search engine, has put together data to show emerging destinations gaining popularity among Thai travellers in 2016. Japan is Thai’s favorite travel destination with 4 Japanese cities dominating the top 10 emerging international destinations list; Searches to Fukuoka has grown 93.3%, Nagoya at 50%, Sapporo at 41%, and Osaka at 33.4%.
