This paper presents a tutorial on the field of femtosecond pulse shaping, a technology that enables generation of nearly arbitrary, user defined, ultrafast optical waveforms, with control of phase, amplitude, and polarization.

ThermalTake reveals fancy but expensive 120mm RGB Led radiator fans

I’m not sure why fans need very long product names, but ThermalTake seems to think there’s a good reason to make the product name as long as possible as the company just introduced the “Riing Plus 12 LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition”. As the name suggests, this is a high-static pressure fan designed for watercooling radiators and it has 12 RGB LEDs that can be controlled via the ThermalTake software.

What CPU Should I Get?2

I’m a first time PC builder and this is my build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8FBtr7 My confusion is in the CPU, it is 3.6 Ghz, however there is also multiple other Ghz models, what’s the difference? I’ll be heavy gaming on Max settings. Also if anybody has any tips on pc building, tweaks to my list, any ideas on how to make it more cost effective, lemme know! Ghz refers to how many cycles the CPU can perform in one second.

Buy Used on Ebay or New?5

There seems to be some good prices on old Dell XPS 8500 models i7 3770 8gb RAM 1 TB HDD PSU I believe to be 300W These models usually sell for around $250 to $350, figured I could throw a gtx 1050 ti and play some games on it. Could I buy a better system new for under $500 that easily beats the performance of that? If you plan on upgrading over time, OEM PCs like the Dell can be a bit troublesome.
