China’s leading e-commerce company JD.com has quietly withdrawn the sale of counterfeit Lafite that was marketed under the first growth’s Chinese name, despite its adamant claim that the look-alike Lafite which appeared on its online auction site was a completely different wine from the Pauillac estate. JD.com has quietly taken down counterfeit Lafite after it was exposed to sell lookalike Lafite.
