Panthers stay hot, down Ducks 4-1 behind goal from Jagr

Jaromir Jagr scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and James Reimer made 35 saves as the Florida Panthers defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Friday night for their third consecutive win. Colton Sceviour had a goal, Aaron Ekblad scored on the power play and Derek MacKenzie added an empty-net goal, giving the Panthers six wins in their last seven games.

Bernier gets shutout, Ducks beat Coyotes 3-0

Bernier, starting in goal for the first time since Dec. 20, had 26 saves in the Anaheim Ducks’ 3-0 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night. Lindholm’s second goal of the season came 5:49 into the opening period and Ritchie got his 10th just 35 seconds into the third.

Ducks vs. Stars BEST/WORST: Tying Up Loose Ends

The Ducks put on arguably their best defensive performance of the season against a high-powered, albeit struggling, Dallas offense. Defenders gave little room for the Stars forwards to work with while entering the zone, the backcheck was effective, and most importantly, zone exits were relatively clean for the most part.
