Tyrone recognition touches Zimmer at ceremony

Saturday night marked a homecoming of sorts as the Golden Eagle Monogram Club welcomed eight new members who have distinguished themselves over the years through their athletic accomplishments. The final inductee of the evening was a special board honoree, Tyrone native John Zimmers, who has been golf course superintendent at world renowned Oakmont Country Club since 1999.
