Pearl doesn’t want to reveal plan without Purifoy

Danjel Purifoy is out with an ankle injury and Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl doesn’t want you to know his plan without him. Pearl confirmed Monday what he suspected two days earlier that Purifoy’s ankle injury will keep him out of tonight’s contest at Missouri leaving Auburn without a direct answer to the replacement in his absence.

Auburn beats Oklahoma 74-70 Birthday of Basketball showcase

Jared Harper and T.J. Dunans each scored 21 points and Auburn beat Oklahoma 74-70 Wednesday in the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Birth of Basketball showcase. Freshman Mustapha Heron, playing in his home state of Connecticut, added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Tigers, who are 9-2 for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
