Design of a multi-use river trail was approved with lighting and trail amenities from Country Club Drive to River Trail Road for $40,000. The third phase of a trail along the Rio Ruidoso in the village is moving toward construction as one of several projects aimed at increasing recreational opportunities in Ruidoso and improving the environment.
