For the first time in six election cycles, state Sen. Angela Bryant, the Democrat representing District 4, which has included Vance and Warren counties, did not file for re-election Monday. "It is a blessing in life to get a chance to do something that I really love doing and, for me, that is serving my community," Bryant said.
