The Washington Nationals have reinstated third baseman Anthony Rendon from the 10-day disabled list and optioned infielder Adrian Sanchez to Triple-A Syracuse. Rendon missed 19 games with what the team called a contusion to his big toe after fouling a pitch off his foot on April 13. The 27-year-old Rendon appeared in two minor league rehab games with Class A Potomac, going 5 for 8 .
