The statement also noted that the Russians have used similar tactics and techniques across Europe and Eurasia to influence public opinion there.

New ‘gold card’ permit may make gun shopping easier, faster

Supporters say a new South Dakota concealed carry permit would speed up gun shopping for permit holders if it receives federal approval. Instead, shoppers would simply be able to present the permit, which requires completing an FBI fingerprint background check on top of the standard obligations necessary to get a concealed carry permit.

US federal authorities cautioned local law enforcement on Friday to be aware that supporters of Islamic State have been calling for their sympathisers to attack holiday gatherings in the United States, including churches, a law enforcement official said. David Chukwuneke Adindu, 29, pleaded not guilty in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday to charges including wire fraud, prosecutors said, more than three weeks after the FBI said he was arrested at a Houston airport.

Progressive Phone Company Discloses Legal Battle Over FBI’s National Security Letters

A federal court has granted permission to a progressive telecommunications company - one at the center of a years-long battle over the constitutionality of national security letters - to talk about the ongoing lawsuit it's involved in. In 2013, Credo Mobile, a phone company headquartered in San Francisco that raises money for progressive groups, received two national security letters from an FBI special agent in San Antonio, Texas, demanding the names, addresses and billing records associated with three accounts.
