Lawyer asks Indiana Supreme Court to order release of Pence emails

William Groth's appeal asks for access to emails sent to Pence in 2014 in which a staffer for Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott outlined a legal strategy for challenging then-President Barack Obama's executive order on immigration.

Voter group wants documents unsealed in Indiana search

A voter mobilization facing an investigation into possible voter registration fraud asked a court Thursday to unseal documents from an Indiana State Police search of its offices, saying it "has been publicly demonized by the highest state officials in Indiana." Patriot Majority USA's attorneys asked a judge to either unseal a search warrant affidavit in the Oct. 4 search of its Indianapolis offices or hold an immediate hearing on its request.

Indiana gubernatorial debate on education set for Sept. 27

The nonprofit Indiana Debate Commission announced Tuesday that the first debate involving Democrat John Gregg, Republican Eric Holcomb and Libertarian Rex Bell will be held at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. The commission says the debate will be during school hours as a town hall-style event involving high school students, teachers and administrators.
