Rutherford Recovering after ‘Significant Discomfort’

Freshman Congressman John Rutherford, a Jacksonville Republican, was recovering in a Washington, D.C.-area hospital after what his office said was "an acute digestive flare" Wednesday night. "Doctors are happy to report that all of his vitals look great," Kelly Simpson, Rutherford's chief of staff, said in a statement Thursday morning.
