With only a few days left before candidate filing closed, Dan Marshall added his name to the ballot last week as a Democratic candidate for the Missouri House of Representatives District 52 seat. Marshall is facing Sedalia School District 200 Superintendent Brad Pollitt, a Republican, who is set to retire June 30. State Rep. Nathan Beard, R-Sedalia, chose not to seek a third term in the House.
