President Donald Trump would welcome a congressional inquiry into his business ties with Russian Federation, the top White House spokesman said on Tuesday, after Republican Sen. At one point during the hearing featuring Clapper and former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, Graham asked Clapper if he ever encountered a situation where "a Trump business interest in Russian Federation gave you concern". The White House said it would welcome any fact-finding by Graham and the subcommittee, which he chairs, saying the president has no business ties to Russian Federation.
