OU caps strong finish with win over Auburn
Oklahoma might have missed out on the College Football Playoff, but it made the most of its postseason opportunity – and perhaps set itself up for a strong run in 2017 – with a 35-19 thrashing of Auburn in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The game was close in the first half with the Sooners leading 14-13 at halftime, but out of the locker room, the Sooners scored first and put the pressure on an Auburn offense that was without starting quarterback Sean White .
