Khwan Fore made a game-saving steal and continued down court for an exclamation layup at the buzzer and third-seeded Richmond escaped with a 70-67 win over George Washington in the Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinals on Friday night. Down one with 5.8 seconds left and the ball under its own basket, the Colonials went up top to Yuta Watanabe but as he tried to dribble left around his defender at the top of the key, Fore slashed in and took the ball away.

Cavanaugh, George Washington rallies past Saint Louis, 63-55
Tyler Cavanaugh scored 18 points and George Washington erased an 11-point second-half deficit and earned its third straight win, beating Saint Louis, 63-55 on Saturday afternoon. Jaren Sina gave the Colonials the lead for good with a 3-pointer with 1:59 left to make it 56-53, and Yuta Watanabe and Cavanaugh combined to hit 5 of 6 from the line in the final minute to keep the Billikens at bay.
Cline’s 19 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists leads Richmond
T.J. Cline had 19 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to help Richmond beat George Washington 77-70 on Sunday. Richmond has started 3-0 in conference play for the first time since the 1997-98 season.
