Sharks defenseman DeMelo out approximately two months
Sharks’ defenseman Dylan DeMelo has had surgery on a broken right wrist and will miss approximately two months, the team announced Friday. General manager Doug Wilson said surgery was performed on DeMelo’s wrist on Thursday, and that he isn’t expected back until mid-March.
Predators knock Tuukka Rask out of game, beat Bruins 2-1
Filip Forsberg scored with 2:24 left in the second period, and the Predators beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 on Thursday night after Bruins’ All-Star goalie Tuukka Rask was knocked out of the game. “It was a test for us, and we showed up and we played our hearts out and got two points and that’s what we came here to do,” Forsberg said.
Oilers rally for OT win
Leon Draisaitl scored 1:50 into overtime as the Edmonton Oilers rallied for a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils. The Oilers struggled at times throughout the evening and had to come from behind for the victory.
