Trocheck’s late goal lifts Panthers past Blues, 2-1

Vincent Trocheck scored with just under 5 seconds remaining to lift the Florida Panthers to a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Monday night. Jonathan Marchessault also scored and James Reimer stopped 26 shots to help the Panthers complete a 5-0 road trip – their first perfect trip of at least that many games in franchise history.

Marchand’s OT goal helps Bruins beat Sharks 2-1

Brad Marchand scored on a breakaway with 2:24 left in overtime and the Bruins picked up where they left off before their break by winning their fourth straight game, 2-1 over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night. “This is a really hard building to win in and they’ve been playing well lately,” Marchand said.

Mitch Marner will not play for Maple Leafs this weekend

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without star rookie Mitch Marner for both of their games this weekend, coach Mike Babcock announced on Saturday. Marner was listed as ” day-to-day ” with an apparent shoulder injury on Friday after he had to exit Wednesday’s game against Columbus after crashing into the boards.
