Grizzlies’ power play overpowers Aces in Utah

On Monday, a lack of urgency in the third period sunk the Springfield Thunderbirds in a late loss against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Four days later, the Thunderbirds showed some more spirit in coming back come back from a 2-goal deficit in the final period, but once again suffered a late letdown en route to a 5-3 loss against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday night.
