Bird flu restrictions are likely to be extended in Hampshire after it was deemed a ‘higher risk area’ by a government department. Prevention zones, aimed at stopping the spread of the disease, were due to be in place until February 28, but the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has said restrictions will remain in place in some areas.
