There are widespread reports that Japan’s SoftBank telecom and Internet giant is behind merger discussions between satellite operator Intelsat and Jersey-based OneWeb. The companies aren’t commenting, but a deal could be outlined alongside Intelsat’s earnings report tomorrow if it goes through, Sky News says.
