The Mall of America, where you can ride a roller coaster indoors or take a virtual flight across the Grand Canyon, will close its 14-screen movie theater on Dec. 28, making way for “a new, first-to-market entertainment venue.” The Bloomington mall said Thursday that its Theatres at Mall of America’s eight-year run was successful, but it was time to change.
