The Crown has won Best TV Drama at the 2017 Golden Globes, beating out Westworld , This Is Us , Stranger Things and Game of Thrones. was nominated for three Golden Globes overall – the other two nods were Best Actress in a Television Series for Claire Foy, who also won, and Best Supporting Actor for John Lithgow, who lost to Billy Bob Thornton .
