St. Jude Medical , now a part of Abbott , is making available in Europe its Proclaim DRG Neurostimulation System. The implant features 4-ports and 16-channels to help control chronic neuropathic pain by electrically stimulating the dorsal root ganglion , a body of neurons responsible for managing pain signals moving up the spine.
