Van Wert High School hosted the Northern Ohio First Tech Challenge Robotics Competition on Saturday with 28 teams and about 300 students participating in the event. Van Wert has hosted the competition three times, but this was the first year the Van Wert High School Robotics Club was able to participate in the competition as well to try to advance to the state championship in Columbus.
