Cartersville High School’s robotics teams didn’t win a state title this year, but one of them did advance to the super-regional. The 15-member Fortissimus team and its robot, Johnny, came in second place at the FTC Georgia State Championship Feb. 18 at Clayton State University and was one of seven teams to qualify for the super-regional competition March 23 at the Classic Center in Athens.
