San Diego’s Daylight Solutions, which makes infrared lasers used to protect military helicopters from heat seeking missiles, has agreed to be acquired by Italian aerospace and defense contractor Leonardo for $150 million. Founded in 2005, Daylight employs about 110 workers and has raised more than $35 million in capital over the years.
