If Oscars were awarded based on audience members’ votes, we’re pretty sure “Hidden Figures” would go home as Best Picture. But that’s the People’s Choice Awards, not the Academy Awards – which are voted on by a few thousand movie industry professionals.

‘The Crown’ reigns at the Golden Globes
The Crown has won Best TV Drama at the 2017 Golden Globes, beating out Westworld , This Is Us , Stranger Things and Game of Thrones. was nominated for three Golden Globes overall – the other two nods were Best Actress in a Television Series for Claire Foy, who also won, and Best Supporting Actor for John Lithgow, who lost to Billy Bob Thornton .
