Edmonds CC trains grads to work in aerospace in 12 weeks

The state operating budget might be saved, but local projects will see delays if Senate Republicans continue to refuse to negotiate a Capital Budget. The House proposed construction projects throughout the state totaling $4.15 billion to build new schools, invest in clean drinking water, salmon recovery programs, expand and upgrade mental health facilities, and invest in housing programs.

Snohomish County NAACP vigil honors lives lost, seeks path forward

A small crowd held a vigil outside the Snohomish County Courthouse in Everett Sunday following the deaths in Minnesota, Louisiana and Texas earlier this week. In times of social discord and national mourning - such as the nation is experiencing following this week's shootings in Minnesota, Louisiana and Texas - people tend to congregate in support of one another, sharing the hopes that that will carry them forward through dark times.
