Tammy Baldwin talks with police, others at roundtable on drugs in La Crosse

Just when police in the La Crosse area thought they had almost eliminated meth as a major drug problem, it has made a comeback. That's what La Crosse County chief deputy Jeff Wolf told Sen. Tammy Baldwin and others at a drug roundtable held in La Crosse on Monday.

Maple Leaf Parade brings community together, provides showcase for politicians

Perhaps the most anticipated event of Oktoberfest is the Maple Leaf Parade, bringing in an estimated 100,000 people to it's two mile route each year, and this year's parade was no exception. On Oct. 1, members of the News 19 crew were out in full force to celebrate the event, by dancing and passing out candy.

On break, Senator Baldwin visits La Crosse Boys and Girls Club

During the month-long break that Congress takes in August, its members are expected to go back home to find out what the people in their states are concerned about. Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin spent part of this weekend meeting children at Boys and Girls Club on the Viterbo University campus in La Crosse.

Baldwin Waterfront Bill Passes Senate

A Senate bill aimed at helping to restore and revitalize endangered waterfronts across the county is moving through to the House. Senator Tammy Baldwin has been working on getting the Waterfront Community Revitalization and Resiliency Act passed for the past year, and says she's happy to finally see it get a vote.
