Doyle seeks Real Id progress

Pennsylvania may be able to avoid REAL ID problems for residents if it revokes a law banning compliance with the federal regulation and shows progress in meeting the requirements, U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle said Friday. Mr. Doyle, D-Forest Hills, said he expects Gov. Tom Wolf and legislative leaders in Harrisburg to begin taking steps soon to repeal the 2011 REAL ID Nonparticipation Act, which prohibits the state from meeting federal ID requirements passed in 2005.
