This year, an open congressional seat in the 16th District in Northeast Ohio has drawn three Republican May 8 primary contenders hoping to retain the seat now held by U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci for the GOP.

The bill directs the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Federal Housing Finance Agency to create a pilot program for creditworthy student debt holders to transform their student debt into an opportunity to purchase and own a home.
