CALGARY, Alberta – Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard is ready for his second conditioning stint with the Grand Rapids Griffins Howard will play two games for the AHL club, Saturday at the Texas Stars and Tuesday at the San Antonio Rampage. It all goes well, Howard, out since Dec. 20 with a sprained right MCL, could be in the Red Wings lineup next weekend.
