The Amateur Swimming Association has announced that it has changed its rules regarding full body swimwear in a bid to allow ‘more people to participate in events across England.’ Up until now, swimwear that covered the whole body, especially swimsuits worn by Olympic swimmers, were banned as they help streamline the shape of the body and have performance-enhancing characteristics.
