West Virginia drops second straight

In a game that saw many ups and downs, West Virginia found themselves on the losing end of another close game on Saturday evening. The Mountaineers got out to a large lead late in the first half, 38-26, but managed to allow a 10-0 Wildcat run over the last 2:52 to give West Virginia a small, two-point advantage going into the locker room.

Jayhawks off to fast start at Rod McCravy Memorial

The University of Kansas track & field squads saw some impressive performances as a handful of Jayhawks got the teams’ weekend started at the Rod McCravy Memorial Friday inside Nutter Field House. The KU pole vaulters again proved their depth as trio of Jayhawks moved into the NCAA’s top-10, while the Jayhawk women’s relay team tacked on one of the fastest times in program history.

Georgia Tech lost an absolute heartbreaker up in Blacksburg on Wednesday night, falling by a final score of 62-61 to the resurgent Virginia Tech Hokies. Bailey scores 23 points to lead San Diego over Lions

Brett Bailey scored 23 points with nine rebounds to lead San Diego to a 69-62 victory over Loyola Marymount on Thursday night. Cameron Neubauer scored 11 of his 15 points in the first half with the Toreros finishing the final six minutes on a 14-2 run, capped by a Bailey 3-pointer to lead 35-22.
