BodyVox presents the skinner/kirk Dance Ensemble - founded by longtime dancers Eric Skinner and Daniel Kirk - in a program of dance artistry based in classical roots. One piece has an all-male cast dancing to a cycle of 13 songs composed by Elliott Smith; another has a collaboration with a band led by composer Galen Clark of Trio Subtonic.
Hundreds of jugglers, from the world-traveled pro to the recent beginner, are joining up this weekend at Reed College for the Portland Juggling Festival . The public can see a performance by local jugglers and performers from as far away as Germany at a Saturday night Juggling and Vaudeville Extravaganza .
