The Springfield Thunderbirds received a memorable performance from Kyle Rau Saturday night, as the forward tallied a hat trick in the T-Birds’ 5-2 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Webster Bank Arena. The Sound Tigers began the game confidently in pursuit of their ninth straight win, controlling much of the play in the opening minutes.
