A Swedish doctor who gained notoriety for using a controversial ‘anal massage’ technique to cure ailments and had his licence revoked could soon be back in action, after Stockholm’s administrative court ruled that the withdrawal of his permit should not stand. The doctor, who has worked in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, lost his Danish licence in 2015 after piercing a patient’s lung while attempting to give them an anaesthetic injection near the chest.
