Celebrate the true spirit of Christmas this season

My first Christmas in the U.S. was electrifying, in a Griswold millions-of-lights-on-the-roof, attic-stairs-hitting-you-in-the-face kind of way. When I arrived in Tennessee in January of 1984, I had just missed Christmas, but the world was at my fingertips, which remained frozen until May–my first year in the warm South.
