Turning Point, which has run the Roads to Recovery service in the county since 2013, was snubbed by Gloucestershire County Council back in September for a cheaper provider. Shire Hall chose to award the lucrative five-year contract for its reshaped drug and alcohol addiction service to social care and health charity CGL instead.
