As Ellison departs Congress, Omar chases another first

Immigration march today

The march, called "Free Our Future," will begin outside the Minneapolis Convention Center at 2 p.m. and follow a 3-mile loop through the downtown, stopping along the way to listen to speakers before finishing back at the convention center. The event is one of 750 planned in all 50 states titled "Families Belong Together," protesting President Donald Trump's family separation and detention policies.
