A discussion on CNN about President Obama's condemnation of Donald Trump's claims that the 2016 election is "rigged" against him quickly devolved into a chaotic shouting match on Tuesday when Trump advisor Boris Epshteyn accused the president of "rigging" his own election in 2008. Epshteyn, who worked on John McCain's 2008 presidential bid, baselessly told host Jake Tapper, "There is voter fraud in Pennsylvania, Colorado, North Carolina, all over this country," before throwing out this claim: "Barack Obama may have won in 2008 in North Carolina due to illegal voting."

The overdue demise of Donald J. Trump
No candidate has entered a presidential debate so cloaked in disgrace or deeper in a hole than Donald Trump - and no candidate has ever been less prepared to face the most searing trial of his public life than the shaken Republican nominee. The walls were already closing around Trump before the Friday release of a video showing him blithely describing, in lurid and demeaning language, his efforts to seduce a married woman and how he would kiss and grope women even if they didn't want him to.
