A SPATE of drownings across Australia over the Christmas break and incidents with inflatable pool lounges has prompted a fresh reminder about water safety. Consumer Affairs Victoria has issued a warning about the use of inflatable air lounges in water after reports of near drownings.

It also plans to reward customers who are frugal in their data usage by reducing their next month’s bills.
