A former Australian Open junior boys’ finalist has been banned from the sport for seven years by the Tennis Integrity Unit after being found guilty of match-fixing offenses at a minor tournament in 2013. Police in New South Wales state charged Nick Lindahl with intentionally losing a tennis match on which friends had placed bets at an ITF futures tournament at Toowoomba, west of Brisbane, in September 2013.

NBA trade rumors: Hawks’ Paul Millsap reportedly no longer on the market

Days after reports surfaced that the Atlanta Hawks were listening to offers for veteran forward Paul Millsap, the three-time All-Star is apparently no longer available, according to a report Monday from Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical: Atlanta general manager Wes Wilcox started informing teams Monday afternoon that the Hawks were no longer working to unload Millsap, sources said. Millsap can be a free agent this summer, and multiple teams – including Denver, Sacramento and theLos Angeles Lakers – had an interest in making a deal for him, sources said.

Steelers assistant coach accused of assault hours after win

Former Pro Bowl linebacker and current Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter was charged early Monday with assaulting a doorman at a bar and a police officer who intervened hours after the team’s wild card win over the Miami Dolphins. The altercation happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, following the Steelers’ 30-12 home victory over the Dolphins in the opening round of the NFL playoffs.
