This week,I have been listening to a lot of radio and watching a lot of CSNE and ESPN and all I have been hearing about is how this game is a joke.Everyone saying that this game is already won,that the Texans have absolutely no chance,and that we should already be talking about the AFC championship people.To those people,and all readers who have these beliefs,that this is the wrong mindset to have. The Texans are no joke.They probably have more defense talent than the Patriots,with Jadeveon Clowney,Whitney Mercilus,A.J Buoye and Vince Wilfork.

The Frazer Bank Invitational has been a week-long affair and after a one-night break Wednesday, action resumed at Western Oklahoma State College’s gymnasium Thursday with play between all one-loss tournament teams. On Tuesday, teams squared off to find out who would advance to the championship semifinals Friday and who would drop to the consolation bracket.

Before Tuesday night, the Elk City Lady Elks were 4-2 and one of the top teams in Class 4A basketball, but with the Lady Bulldogs coming to town, they prepared for a battle against one of the top teams in Class 5A. The Altus Bulldogs basketball team traveled to Elk City on Tuesday to take on the Elks in their first game since Christmas break ended and the new year began and suffered a disappointing loss once again. The last time the Bulldogs were on the court, they suffered their second defeat of the season to the Burkburnett Bulldogs in a game that was never really close.
