Watauga’s swim teams did not qualify any team members for the state 4-A swim meet, but Pioneers coach David Gragg was encouraged with how his team swam at the Western 4-A Regional held at South Mecklenburg High School on Feb. 3-4. Two Watauga girls’ relay teams – the 200-medley relay and the 200-freestyle – finished in ninth place.
