A local council in southern Sydney has warned swimmers and their pets not to enter the water at Kurnell after a dog was taken by a shark. Pet owners should also keep their animals away from the water at the off-leash area at Bonna Point Reserve in Kurnell, after the dog was attacked by what was believed to be a bull shark on Sunday evening.
